Its very helpful and includes very single written aspect of the coursework to the point the booklet could deliver this side of the course for you if you needed textiles cover work for an absent teacher.Personally I use it along side teaching the course as a booklet that is kept in the classroom.I dont want the coursework i just need to know what to do for each page. I agree, I presume you'll be doing AQA so read the specification from their website. My teacher is so crap that all our class went to the headteacher to complain. im on easter holidays and want to finish all my coursework.
This is a photo step by step guide with examples and prompt questions of how to complete the AQA Textiles Coursework for the last 2018 submission (as next year will be the new spec product design).
This is a god send and will make your life a lot easier for this final year.
Page 21) Mass manufacture...I would make my product if it was mass manufactured.
Page 22) User trials..I did every day activites with my item on.... Page 23) Production plan....lesson by lesson plan...I did in each..health and safety considerations for each lesson...quality control checks.
If anyone has done textiles coursework at GCSE before, preferably with the WJEC exam board, could you post some pictures of your folder so I could get an idea on how I should present my work, etc to get the best grades.
Thanks Hi, I am starting my textiles coursework now (WJEC exam board) and I'm having trouble on what to write.
Page 2) Image board - pictures of existing products, fabric samples, component samples, etc....an evaluation, why I needed a mood board, why I have chosen those items on the mood board.
Page 3) comparitive shop- examples of the product on the market...a grid...comparing price, colour, descriptio, fabric, and sizes, available....evaluated page. I looked at the shop, joining/neatening techniques, colour, price, appearance, fastenings, fabric content, style, washing instructions, country of origin, and function....I evaluated the page, saying how it would help me design my prouct and the designs I will use.
Hope this helps x Page 1) Customer info - project title, who is the client, where/when the product will be used, what could I make, how will I make it.
On other half of page - things to consider- client, function, safety, fabric, style, time available, cost, size, event, component.
